Attorney John S. Kay
graduated from The
University of South
Carolina receiving a
B.A. in Journalism in 1983 and from
The University of South
Carolina School of Law
receiving a Juris Doctor
in 1986. Mr. Kay joined
the Korn Law Firm in
1989, and is a
shareholder. Mr. Kay
practices primarily in
the areas of
foreclosure, bankruptcy,
and real estate. He is a
frequent speaker for
national business groups
and mortgage services on issues relating to
the mortgage industry
and is the author of
numerous foreclosure and
bankruptcy manuals,
including a manual on
South Carolina
Manufactured Housing
issues and the new detitling statute. He
has spoken before the
South Carolina Equity
Court Judicial
Conference and the South
Carolina Bankruptcy Law
Association. Mr. Kay is
a member of the
South Carolina
Bankruptcy Law
Association (Board
Member 2003 - 2005), the
Master in Equity Rules
Committee, and has
been active in the US
Foreclosure Network for
over ten years. |
